Commentary on Getting a Job

It's not what you know;
It's WHO you know.
That's a sad commentary on our
 society.

You could be qualified
 but have long hair, and the
  answer is always no.

You have to be strikingly
 beautiful,
Or know the company president.

You can't be ugly or they'll
 say nope.

Why can't you get a job,
 because you're willing and able,
and not because your boss-to-be
 is also your family's closest friend.

You can't achieve, like me,
Unless you passed the test
Of beauty and power.

I have a long way to go.
