A rock is the symbol
of authority, but it
also sits around
and stares at the world.
It has no chance to move,
unless kicked up by an animal
or brushed against by
a very strong water current.
Why can't a rock live a
life like the rest of
us and not sit all by
itself in nature?
A rock shall not be moved
like a sit-down strike
of the middle 1960's
but as far as we're
concerned it's dead.
